Manisha Raisinghani, cofounder, LogiNext Solutions, has moved on from the logistics-based software-as-a-service startup and is working on building a new enterprise software startup, said three people aware of the matter.

Raisinghani's new startup is in talks to raise a seed round of funding and has held talks with early-stage investment funds such as Matrix Partners and Blume Ventures, said one of the persons, who did not wish to be identified.

The talks are preliminary in nature and a deal is yet to be finalised, he said. Another person said Raisinghani, a Carnegie Mellon University alumna, had quit from day-to-day operations at the company, by late 2021.

She was the chief technology officer (CTO) at the New Jersey-headquartered firm. The company has yet to make any formal announcement on her exit.

LogiNext Solutions declined to comment on Raisinghani stepping down. Raisinghani declined to comment on the matter as well, saying the idea of the new company, still unnamed, is exploratory in nature.

While Matrix Partners did not respond to ET’s queries, a Blume Ventures spokesperson said the firm “would not be able to offer a comment at this point of time”.

Raisinghani’s new venture will not be competing with LogiNext Solutions, said people in the know. They said she is likely working on a startup comparable to the likes of Glean, a work assistant company that unifies a search tool for its enterprise clients.

Prior to cofounding LogiNext Solutions with CEO Dhruvil Sanghvi, a Carnegie Mellon alumnus, Raisinghani worked across multiple software engineering roles at companies such as IBM, Warner Bros and Mastek.

Founded in 2014, Mumbai-based LogiNext Solutions had last raised $39 million from Tiger Global Management and Steadview Capital in 2020. The round had valued the company at close to $100 million, with the company raising $50 million across multiple rounds till then.

It entered North America in 2018, signing up its first enterprise client in the market. Subsequently, it set up sales offices in new markets such as Dubai to expand. In October 2022, it was reportedly seeking to raise $100 million in a funding round that could value it at about $800 million.
