InMobi Glance elevates Mansi Jain to be its COO

InMobi Glance has elevated Mansi Jain to be its chief operating officer as the company doubles down on AI-led commerce through Glance AI as part of its expansion strategy.

Jain was senior vice president at InMobi’s lock-screen content platform Glance. She had joined the company in 2012.

In a statement on Tuesday, the company said Jain will lead Glance’s global expansion. In May, the company launched Glance AI, which was developed in partnership with Google.


The company has invested $200 million in Glance AI and is looking to invest a few hundred million dollars more as they expand to 140 countries, including India and the US.

Naveen Tewari, cofounder of InMobi, told ET recently that the company is building distribution muscle and is integrating the technology into phones, TV and digital retail stores.

InMobi is working with original equipment manufacturers such as Motorola and service providers like Verizon in the US, he said, adding that they will also bring it to Android TV and Bharti Airtel. With this strategy, the company expects 50 million downloads within four months of launch.

The company is also looking to list on the stock exchanges and is in the process of redomiciling to India.
