Bengaluru: Sanjeev Bikhchandani-ledInfo Edge has been investing in Housing.com founder Rahul Yadav’s latest startup, Broker Network. Operated by parent 4B Networks, it provides a technology platform to help brokers connect with properties, buyers and other brokers.

According to recent filings with the Indian exchanges, Info Edge invested Rs 137.12 crore in 4B Networks in March, through its subsidiary Allcheckdeals India (ACD), and has been investing in the company over multiple tranches. It invested Rs 9 crore in February and Rs 18 crore in December 2021.

“The investment will help ACD to strengthen its offering in the real estate segment by providing a new platform to real estate industry professionals to conduct their business efficiently through the majority held in 4B post this investment,” said Info Edge in its filing with the Indian exchanges on March 30.


Info Edge, through ACD, now holds 57.16% in 4B Networks. It currently operates real-estate platform 99acres.

Founded in November 2020, 4B helps real estate developers and brokers communicate with each other and conduct business via the Broker Network Platform. It helps brokers conduct site visits and provide home-loan-related services to their clients.

The company has over 500 employees, and Yadav is its chief executive, according to Linkedin.

In March, Info Edge also infused Rs 140 crore in subsidiary ACD to grow its services through “organic and inorganic” channels.

“The said investment is to further strengthen the wholly-owned subsidiary financially in order for it to pursue its strategy of developing services with the use of technology and innovative business models in the large and rapidly growing real estate vertical through organic or inorganic channels,” it said in its filings in March.
