The two sides discussed strengthening the agricultural value chain, promoting entrepreneurship, improving skilling and employment opportunities, and accelerating inclusive economic growth in Haryana.
The chief minister also held discussions on enhancing cooperation in horticulture and fresh produce sourcing to help more farmers and Farmer-Producer Organisations (FPOs) in Haryana access wider markets through technology-enabled supply chains.
The statement said the proposed collaboration aims to improve market linkages for agricultural produce while creating new opportunities for farmers, entrepreneurs and local businesses.
During the meeting, Flipkart reaffirmed its long-term commitment to Haryana and said it would continue working with the state government to create opportunities for farmers, entrepreneurs and local businesses through digital commerce and technology.
The discussions reflected a shared commitment to using technology and innovation to strengthen rural prosperity, promote entrepreneurship and generate sustainable livelihood opportunities across the state, the statement added.
