Having trouble connecting to a meeting on Google Meet? You are not alone.

Google's videoconferencing solution is suffering an outage since Saturday morning with several users witnessing server issues while connecting to their meetings.

Many people took to Twitter to report the inability to access the service, with #googlemeet also trending on the social media platform.




Downdetector, a website that provides an overview of outages across several Internet services, had indicated major spikes for the service from 9 am on Saturday. Majority of people on the website are reporting problems with joining a meeting while some are facing issues with starting one.

ET couldn't verify the extent of this outage at present. Google is yet to update its Workspace status dashboard that provides performance information for its various services or issue a public statement on this outage at the time of writing this article. ET has reached to Google for a comment.
