An order to Meta Platforms to restore rival AI chatbots' access to its social messaging app WhatsApp will remain in place while an EU investigation continues or could last until June 2029, EU antitrust chief Teresa Ribera said on Tuesday.
Ribera said Meta's proposal to address competition concerns was not convincing.
