"The Digital Commerce Coalition brings together leading digital-first ecommerce companies. It will focus on areas where collective industry action can help improve customer experiences, expand opportunities for entrepreneurs and small businesses, strengthen supply chains, support delivery partners, and contribute to broader economic development," the Coalition said in a statement reviewed by ET.
Eternal said that the Coalition creates a strong case for collaboration across industry and Zepto added that the move was important as no single company can solve for key priorities alone. Further, Meesho said that as e-commerce adoption deepens across Bharat, collaborative industry initiatives can help shape inclusive growth.
The Digital Commerce Coalition will focus on areas where collective industry action can help improve customer experiences, expand opportunities for entrepreneurs and small businesses, strengthen supply chains, support delivery partners, and contribute to broader economic development.
It said it will also serve as a forum for stakeholder engagement, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing, to help ensure growth remains responsible and future-ready. New Delhi-based public policy consulting firm Koan Advisory Group will serve as the secretariat for the Digital Commerce Coalition, supporting its engagement, research, and convening activities.
