Dell Tech's workforce dropped by 10% in fiscal year 2025, according to the company's annual report.

The IT infrastructure company had approximately 108,000 employees as of January 31, down from around 120,000 a year earlier, as it focused on cost-cutting measures, including a cap on hiring.

Dell also reaffirmed its dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

“We are committed to equal employment opportunity and continuing to implement inclusive policies that enable Dell Technologies to achieve these goals,” the company stated, according to a Reuters report.

On his first day back in office, US President Doanld Trump had signed an executive order to dismantle federal DEI programmes. Trump had described DEI initiatives as discriminatory and proposed that the Department of Justice look into whether such efforts breach the law.
