Coupang CEO resigns after online retailer hit by massive data breach

Coupang’s CEO Park Dae-jun has stepped down after a major data breach, accepting responsibility for the incident. Harold Rogers from the US parent firm will serve as interim chief, guiding the company through its immediate transition.

South Korea's biggest online retailer Coupang said on Wednesday that its chief executive officer Park Dae-jun has resigned, taking responsibiliity for a huge data breach at the company.

Coupang said Harold Rogers, the chief administrative officer of its parent company in the United States, will take over as temporary CEO.
