Cloud kitchen launched for pets in Chennai

A cloud kitchen for pets, Wagg n Dine, has been launched in the city.

Wagg n Dine is focused on preparing fresh, human-grade meals for pets. The brand offers freshly cooked, human-grade meals for dogs, prepared using natural ingredients and delivered to customers' doorsteps as an alternative to conventional processed pet food, a press release said.

Speaking at the launch, Manivannan, Founder of Wagg n Dine, said, "India's pet care landscape is undergoing a fundamental shift, from 'just feeding pets' to 'nourishing family members'. With the pet food market projected to grow at over 6-8 per cent annually and premium segments expanding upwards of 20 per cent, we are seeing a clear consumer pivot towards fresh, human-grade nutrition."
