Chinese automakers and government discuss chip shortage and exports
An automotive industry meeting ⁠attended by multiple Chinese ‌government ‌departments including the state ‌planner and industry ministry discussed intense sector competition, chip shortages and exports ‌among other ‍issues, ‍the China Association of ‌Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) said on Monday.

Executives from FAW, Dongfeng, ‍SAIC Motor , Changan ‍and ⁠BAIC ⁠were present at the meeting, the CAAM statement said.
