Chandrayaan-3 supplier plans new electronics unit in Mysuru

The company MD Ramesh Kannan signed an MoU with Industries Commissioner Gunjan Krishna in the presence of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and IT/BT Minister Priyank Kharge's presence. The listed company is headquartered in Mysuru.

Electronics manufacturer Kaynes Technology on Thursday announced plans to set up a semiconductor assembly parts, testing facility and printed circuit board (PCB) unit on the outskirts of Mysuru.

The company MD Ramesh Kannan signed an MoU with Industries Commissioner Gunjan Krishna in the presence of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and IT/BT Minister Priyank Kharge's presence. The listed company is headquartered in Mysuru.

A statement from the state government said the unit will help with the development of the electronics system and design manufacturing (ESDM) sector and add jobs in Mysuru.


The company has been involved with the ISRO projects and supplied power packages to the Chandrayaan-3 mission which has been of use in powerring the mission's lander and rover.
