Quick commerce platform Blinkit plans to have 3,000 dark stores on its network by March 2027, CEO Albinder Dhindsa said on Thursday. This will set Blinkit on the next phase of aggressive expansion as it looks to bolster its leadership position in the 10-minute delivery market.

ET had reported earlier, citing BofA Research, that the company has over 50% market share in quick commerce leading rivals Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket's BB Now and Flipkart Minutes.

The Gurugram-based company had 1,816 such micro-warehouses as of September 30, and is on track to have 2,100 such stores by December this year.
