Rene Haas may expand his role within SoftBank Group while continuing to lead Arm, overseeing more international business operations, according to a report by Financial Times.

Rene Haas, the chief executive of UK chip designer Arm, is in line to lead a swath of SoftBank Group's international business, the Financial Times reported on Thursday, citing multiple people familiar with the matter.
Haas would take on the new role alongside his position as the head of Arm, the report said.
