Technology giant Apple has confirmed that iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4, set to launch in April, will introduce Apple Intelligence, the company’s artificial intelligence system, in localised Indian English, along with French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese. The update will also extend Apple Intelligence to the European Union (EU).

The iOS 18.4 update will bring several new capabilities, including priority notifications. However, the new Siri, Apple’s digital assistant, will arrive later, with the iOS 18.5 update.

Apple Intelligence has been available on eligible iPhones, iPads, and Macs for some time but was initially restricted to select languages. The forthcoming update will significantly expand its reach, catering to more users across various geographies.

With iOS 18.4, Apple Intelligence will be accessible on more devices, including the iPhone 15 Pro series, iPhone 16 series, and the newly launched iPhone 16e, the most affordable smartphone to support Apple Intelligence.

Additionally, all variants of iPads and Macs powered by M-series chips will gain Apple Intelligence support. This includes the iPad Air, iPad Pro, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini, iMac, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro.
