AI-driven gifting: How IGP is transforming the online gifting space
As IGP plans to open 100 new dark stores, here’s how the D2C platform is redefining the concept of gifting with customised solutions, a curated approach, and seamless delivery.

Gone are the days of one-size-fits-all gifting. In the digital age, where consumers increasingly seek personalised, curated gifting options, IGP has positioned itself as a market leader, offering breakthrough choices powered by AI-driven recommendations. Customisation and convenience—enabled by a personalised approach, proprietary delivery networks, and real-time tracking—are central to IGP’s model. By fusing tradition with cutting-edge technology, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to curate imaginative gifting experiences and deliver a seamless customer experience, IGP has been redefining what it means to gift thoughtfully, delivering joy right on time.

Currently operating 60 dark stores, IGP is on track to open 100 new dark stores in the next few months. With options like 30-minute delivery in 30+ cities, same-day delivery in 400+ cities, and international shipping to 150+ countries, IGP ensures timely, thoughtful gifting experiences. This operational excellence, coupled with the ability to manufacture and sell directly to consumers, has established IGP as a trend-setting company in the gifting industry, backed by key investors like Motiwal Oswal Private Equity, Convivialite Ventures, and DSG Consumer Partners.
Redefining festive gifting

IGP has launched India's biggest Diwali gift hamper to redefine festive gifting this season. This grand, impressive hamper stands at an extraordinary six feet and is fully customisable, allowing customers to tailor the contents to their preferences. It is the largest ever seen in India, according to the company, which is also one of the largest D2C gifting platforms in the world.
At the heart of IGP’s philosophy is the commitment to ‘Amazing Gifts, Samay Par.’ This guiding principle underscores the importance of timely gifting, ensuring that whether it's Rakhi, birthdays, anniversaries, or Diwali, gifts arrive right when they matter most. IGP claims to have experienced a remarkable increase in operations, dispatching over 170% more packages compared to the previous year, with hamper values ranging from INR 400 to INR 10,000 across its top-selling categories—a testament to its guiding principles.
IGP at the ET Soonicorns Summit
IGP’s commitment to excellence was further highlighted at the ET Soonicorns event 2024, where Founder & CEO Tarun Joshi took part in a panel discussion titled ‘Expanding the Indian SaaS Footprint at Home and Abroad: Scaling Strategies to Achieve the $37B Target’. Sharing insights alongside industry leaders like Lalit Bhise, CEO of BIZOM, and Mitesh Shah, Co-founder of Inflection Point Ventures, Joshi emphasised the importance of customer-centric strategies—values that align with IGP’s approach to gifting. As the official gifting partner for ET Soonicorns, IGP curated thoughtful, personalised gifts for the event, showcasing its expertise in blending tradition with innovation.
With a global reach, record-breaking achievements, and a focus on delivering joy with precision, IGP has established itself as the preferred gifting partner for millions, making every celebration a little more special—just in tim
