The collaboration aims to create a digitally connected, sustainable, and future-ready infrastructure ecosystem for Adani’s operations in India and overseas, the company said in a statement. The group will use Autodesk’s end-to-end design and make solutions to unify data across its projects. The tools will aid in enhancing efficiency, collaboration, and visibility across business units.
Autodesk, known for its design, engineering, and construction software such as AutoCAD and Revit, supports global infrastructure and manufacturing projects with digital design and data integration tools. Earlier, ET had reported on how the company sees growing potential in the India and APAC region. Autodesk already has a running contract with Tata Projects that has built several mega public infra projects in India.
By integrating digital tools such as ACC, Adani seeks to drive innovation in AI, automation, and sustainability-led project delivery.
“This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver sustainable, high-quality infrastructure efficiently, setting a new benchmark for design-led innovation across the Adani ecosystem,” said KS Rao, CEO, Adani Infra India Ltd.
The partnership will also include initiatives for process standardisation, BIM capability building, partner enablement programmes, leadership workshops, and upskilling across the Adani Group.
“Together, we’re leveraging Autodesk’s Design and Make platform to power a digital ecosystem that drives smarter, more sustainable growth, setting new benchmarks for how India designs and builds to serve the needs of today and the future,” said Kamolika Gupta Peres, vice president, India and SAARC, Autodesk.
The contract is part of Adani’s flagship digital transformation initiative Parivartaan, which aims to digitise the entire project lifecycle. Through it, the group plans to enhance operational efficiency across its energy, logistics, airports, cement, and digital solutions verticals, it said in a statement.
