Germany's federal office for information security (BSI) is aware of about 200 SharePoint cases in Germany vulnerable to a security flaw, the office told Reuters on Tuesday.

A security patch released by Microsoft MSFT.O last month failed to fully fix a critical flaw in the U.S. tech giant's SharePoint server software that had been identified in May, opening the door to a sweeping global cyber espionage operation.
