Jeff Bezos criticises Biden once again over inflation

Bezos called out the Biden administration for pushing US inflation by injecting more stimulus.

New York: Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos once again took a shot at US President Joe Biden on Twitter yesterday, after the President posted a tweet claiming the U.S. was on track to see its largest yearly deficit decline ever, totaling $1.5 trillion.

Responding to the tweet Bezos wrote, “In fact, the administration tried hard to inject even more stimulus into an already over-heated, inflationary economy and only Manchin saved them from themselves. Inflation is a regressive tax that most hurts the least affluent. Misdirection doesn’t help the country.”



Earlier on Saturday, Bezos had criticised Biden for jumbling inflation and taxes and had asked the Disinformation Board to review his tweet. “Raising corp taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical to discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection”, Bezos had written.
