IPO-bound Gupshup expands its top deck

Sudesh Vasudevan joins as VP of corporate development, strategy and investor relations.

Gupshup, a business messaging company that in April turned into a unicorn, has added seven new vice-presidents (VPs) to its executive team.

Sudesh Vasudevan joins as VP of corporate development, strategy and investor relations.

The company said that Vasudevan would be responsible for driving M&A (mergers and acquisitions) transactions, developing an IPO roadmap and liaising with existing and new investors.


The company has also hired Ninad Takpere as VP, sales; Manoj Pandey as VP, customer success; Sandeep Bedi as VP, international business development; Vishnu Nadella as VP, information technology and chief information security officer; and Srinivas B Vijayaraghavan as VP, marketing.

Gupshup raised $100 million in funding from Tiger Global Management at a $1.4 billion valuation in April this year.
