Gupshup, Truecaller partner on business communication solution

Pune: Conversational engagement firm Gupshup said it is partnering with contact verification firm Truecaller to create advanced business identity solutions for enterprises. This will create a secure voice communication ecosystem for brands to better engage with consumers and improve their overall calling experience.

Gupshup and Truecaller will bring the Verified Business Caller Identity solution to businesses. The partnership will help brands deliver personalized voice calls to customers, with a logo, verified tick, call reason and green badge with Truecaller caller identification for more meaningful engagement between brands and consumers.

“The Verified Business Caller Identity solution will help businesses add more credibility to their consumer communication. With contextual information provided through a verified identity, the scope of identity theft and phishing are significantly reduced”, said Ravi Sundararajan, Chief Operating Officer, Gupshup.


Gupshup recently acquired Knowlarity, a cloud communications leader in cloud telephony, contact center automation, AI-powered voice assistants and speech analytics solutions. This acquisition enhances Gupshup’s capabilities in conversational AI and help businesses build seamless conversational experiences across both voice and messaging channels

The solution intends to cut through the problem of unsolicited calls and messages. This solution will provide businesses a self-service dashboard to easily manage business numbers and access insights for calling patterns.

Gupshup currently powers six billion messages a month and has a presence across verticals.
