BetterPlace, a full-stack tech platform for frontline workforce management, has appointed former Monster executive Vikram Bhaskar as its new chief business officer (CBO) - software business and benefits.

Bhaskar - who has over 20 years of experience in companies such as GE Money, HDFC Bank, and Quikr - will be leading the HRMS software business along with benefits (merchandise, insurance).

“HR tech for frontline workers in India is becoming one of the fastest-growing segments in the SaaS industry. We wanted someone who can partner with enterprises in their digital transformation and help them scale. His [Bhaskar’s] extensive experience will help our enterprises," said Pravin Agarwala, chief executive officer (CEO) and cofounder of BetterPlace.

Previously, Bhaskar was the chief revenue officer of Monster and the business head of Quikr.

“BetterPlace has been at the forefront of bringing tech innovation to the frontline workforce sector to create a better place for enterprises and the frontline workers. I look forward to working with the team and being part of their vision of formalising and optimising India’s demographic dividend,” said Bhaskar.

BetterPlace recently completed its fourth acquisition of the no-code workflow builder platform Ezedox in an all-cash deal.
