Wealthtech startup Dezerv hires Sripad Panyam as head of product

Wealthtech startup Dezerv said it has hired Sripad Panyam as its head of product. The appointment comes at a time when the platform, which has been invite-only since inception, has opened access to all working professionals.

Panyam will be responsible for the platform's overall product development and user experience. He brings with him more than a decade of experience in product management and has built award-winning products in his previous ventures. He has previously served as the head of products at firms like Urban Company.

Panyam will work closely with Deserv cofounder Sandeep Jethwani on scaling its systems and making its product available to all working professionals in India.

Kunal Shah of Cred, Varun Dua of Acko, Vidit Aatrey of Meesho, Asish Mohapatra of OfBusiness, and Revant Bhate of Mosaic Wellness are also among its early investors.
