Vernacular.ai introduces Covid-19 initiatives for employees

Bengaluru: Vernacular.ai, a Conversational AI startup, has launched several initiatives to help employees navigate the Covid-19 crisis.

As part of those initiatives, the company will provide monetary and healthcare support to employees—and their family members—who may have been affected by the pandemic.

If an employee tests positive for Covid-19, Vernacular.ai will offer her an advance salary for incidental expenses, over and above the group medical insurance cover of up to Rs 8 lakh. The insurance also covers all expenses for 30 days before and 60 days after hospitalisation.


An afflicted employee will also get an allowance of up to Rs 5,000 during home quarantine and hospitalisation. This is applicable for family members as well.
