Urban Company’s quick services vertical InstaHelp crosses 50,000 daily bookings

Launched as a pilot in Mumbai in March 2025, InstaHelp offers on-demand housekeeping services such as cleaning, dishwashing, laundry and meal preparation, promising fulfilment within 10-15 minutes of booking.

Urban Company’s quick service vertical InstaHelp has crossed 50,000 daily bookings less than a year after launch, at a time when the listed home services platform is expanding into high-frequency use cases.

In a stock exchange filing on Monday, Urban Company said InstaHelp recorded about 51,520 bookings on February 22, 2026, marking its highest single-day volume so far.

“Crossing 50,000+ daily bookings reflects strong consumer demand for reliable, on-demand housekeeping services,” Abhiraj Singh Bhal, cofounder and chief executive of Urban Company said. “We are investing to build a large, high-frequency category that deepens platform engagement and strengthens long-term growth.”



Launched as a pilot in Mumbai in March 2025, InstaHelp offers on-demand housekeeping services such as cleaning, dishwashing, laundry and meal preparation, promising fulfilment within 10-15 minutes of booking.

The service is currently available in select micro-markets across Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Pune.

However, the company said the 50,000-plus figure represents a peak day rather than a daily average, adding that sustained growth will depend on customer retention, service quality and the availability of professionals.

The announcement comes amid intensifying competition in the quick household services segment.

Last week, Anjali Sardana, founder of rival Pronto, said the platform has scaled to over 15,000 bookings per day within 10 months of launch. She added that Pronto burned just over $8 million in the past year.

For the December quarter of FY26, Urban Company reported a 33% year-on-year rise in operating revenue to Rs 383 crore, driven by new-user growth, steady revenue retention and festive season demand in core categories.

The company posted a net loss of Rs 21 crore for the quarter, compared with a profit of Rs 231 crore a year earlier, which was driven by a one-time tax gain. InstaHelp’s adjusted Ebitda loss climbed to Rs 61 crore during the quarter from Rs 44 crore in the preceding quarter.

Investor interest in the segment remains strong. In December 2025, ET reported that Pronto was in advanced discussions to raise $25 million from various investors, including Epiq Capital, along with existing backers Glade Brook Capital, General Catalyst and Bain Capital. Rival Snabbit raised $30 million in October 2025 in a round led by Bertelsmann India Investments.
