[24]7.ai, a customer engagement solutions provider, has added 2,500 people to its workforce, primarily in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. About 80% of [24]7.ai’s employee strength is currently working from home.

New Delhi: [24]7.ai, a customer engagement solutions provider, has stepped up hiring amid the Covid-19 pandemic, adding as many as 2,500 people to its workforce primarily at its Bengaluru and Hyderabad facilities.

The total employee strength has now gone up to 6,000 in India, as per a company statement.

[24]7.ai did most of its hiring via social media platforms, employee referrals, consultants and applications on job portals. The onboarding and induction process is completely online, and the employees have already started work on their assigned job functions. The company has hired for roles including customer care executives for voice, chat and blended processes to manage clients worldwide.


At present, more than 80% of [24]7.ai employees are working from home, and the company is providing employees with fully-loaded and compatible computers, corporate broadband and mobile phone reimbursements.

[24]7.ai has also revamped its employee engagement programmes to include Radio [24]7, an exclusive online music platform, virtual awards nights, mental health awareness programmes, expert talks, yoga and meditation sessions, etc. The company has also set up a health office to monitor the health of all employees and their families. It also periodically runs audits to monitor the employee engagement and happiness quotient.

“When the first lockdown was announced to help beat the novel coronavirus, it altered the entire business landscape. We gradually shifted from survival mode to strategy mode and found an opportunity in this new way of working,” Animesh Jain, [24]7.ai’s chief delivery officer for India and the Americas, said.
