Teleport is backed by well-known Indian startup founders, including CRED’s Kunal Shah, Meesho’s Vidit Aatrey, and Redbus’ Phanindra Sama.
In a statement, StampMyVisa cofounder and CEO Rahul Borude said, “Teleport has built a loyal user base and strong brand affinity among young Indian travellers. With this acquisition, we are bringing together the best of both worlds: Teleport’s consumer innovation and SMV’s scalable visa infrastructure.”
Founded in 2023 by Borude, Pravin Wadekar, and Amey Anekar, StampMyVisa helps travel agents, corporate clients, OTAs (online travel agencies), and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) companies handle visa applications for over 60 countries.
The company also said that it is in advanced discussions to raise $3 million to support its next stage of growth.
“We built Teleport to reimagine global travel for new-age independent Indian explorers,” said Teleport founder Nikita Dresswala. “In StampMyVisa, we’ve found the right partner to scale this mission. With their B2B muscle and deep visa expertise, we’re set to create the most seamless and trusted visa experience in the country.”
