Sanjeev Bikhchandani reappointed as non-executive director on Zomato board

Zomato's shareholders voted in favour to re-appoint Info Edge co-founder Sanjeev Bikhchandani as its non-executive director on the company board, according to a disclosure to stock exchanges on Thursday.

The company put forth two resolutions at its 12th annual general meeting on Tuesday when it reiterated its focus on growing its topline and reassured shareholders about its path to profitability.

Zomato passed a resolution to consider and adopt the audited standalone and consolidated financial statements for the financial year ended March 31, 2022. It also considered re-appointment of Bikhchandani, who was to retire by rotation and being eligible, offered himself for reappointment.


While 100% of votes were in favour of adopting the audited consolidated and standalone financial statements of the company for FY22, 98.91% of votes were in favour of Bikhchandani’s reappointment.
