PwC India on Monday announced the launch of its first accelerator programme to support startups in the emerging technology sectors.

The accelerator will select 15 startups that have secured Series A or B funding, in sectors including artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, web3, spacetech and spatial reality, for a three-month mentorship titled "Emerging Tech Startup Challenge".

"Startups will have access to PwC’s network of industry experts and advisors, enabling them to refine their business strategies and gain insights that align with their growth ambitions," the company said in a statement.

These firms will get 25 hours of pro-bono consulting services across areas such as management, technology, go-to-market strategies, valuation, funding, and taxation, the statement added.

"By empowering emerging technology startups and equipping them with the tools to thrive, we are fostering a dynamic and sustainable tech ecosystem in India," said Sanjeev Krishan, chairperson, PwC India.
