Noise appoints Nicobar Design’s Utsav Malhotra as COO

Bengaluru: Wearables maker Noise has brought on board Utsav Malhotra as its chief operating officer for overseeing the company’s business strategy, operations and marketing initiatives, according to a statement issued on Tuesday.

In his previous role, Malhotra was business head at Nicobar Design, a premium modern clothing and accessories brand for men and women. Before that, he was COO at AMPM Fashions and vice president at Fashion and You. He has also worked with Umbrella Associates and Arvind Lifestyle Brands. At Noise, he will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing strategic initiatives, vision and developing a roadmap for achieving its business goals.

“Utsav is an ideal fit for us, as he is a proven leader with great experience over the past two decades, which we believe will be invaluable to the growth of our company—from both a business perspective and a cultural one,” Noise’s co-founder Amit Khatri said.


Commenting on his appointment, Malhotra said, “The wearable and hearable market is rapidly growing in India and witnessed a huge uptick from tech enthusiasts for such products. Noise is revolutionising this industry with its contemporary technology and consumer-friendly designs.”

Founded in 2018 by Gaurav Khatri and Amit Khatri, Noise was established with a vision to redefine how India imagines connected devices.
