Byju's ropes in Lionel Messi as global ambassador
With a social media fanbase of nearly 450 million, Lionel Messi - who plays for the French club Paris Saint-Germain and is the captain of the Argentinian football team - will feature in campaigns promoting Byju's Education For All initiative.
Byju's aims to expand its global footprint and commitment to making education accessible, equitable, and affordable for all. Earlier this year, it became the official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup 2022 scheduled to be held later this month in Qatar.

Byju's association with Messi comes close on the heels of reports suggesting it is eyeing to raise $250-300 million via convertible notes and is in early-stage talks with TPG to rope it in as one of the potential investors.
