Ravish Naresh, cofounder and the chief executive of the company, said in a blog post that the startups will receive equity investment in the range of $50,000 - $100,000.
“Over the past 2.5 years, seeing Khatabook's journey and the associated MSME and Fintech ecosystem evolve, one thing is clear that the space we're operating in has a lot of depth and breadth. I believe that in the near future, a lot more companies would be working towards solving the problems of MSMEs and help them evolve in the digital world, and in turn, addressing problems and aspirations of a large portion of our country's economy,” Naresh said in the blog post.
“Many exceptional individuals who believed in Khatabook's vision joined the company in the early days and contributed to growth with their relentless efforts. So now, if some of those individuals wish to start their own entrepreneurial journey in the pursuit of our shared vision of helping MSMEs evolve and grow, we are happy to support them through the Khatabook Grants Program,” he added.
He said that Khatabook will extend help and mentorship of senior leaders within the company to employees on this journey.
Last month, Khatabook raised $100 million in its Series C round, led by Silicon Valley-based early-stage fund Tribe Capital and Moore Strategic Ventures (MSV).
