The round also saw participation from new angel investors, including Shaadi.com’s Anupam Mittal, WhatsApp CEO Kunal Shah, YouTuber Tanmay Bhat, Unacademy’s Gaurav Munjal, and others.
Early backer PedalStart, alongside the JK Tyre family office and Shadowfax cofounders Abhishek Bansal and Vaibhav Khandelwal, also participated in the round.
Founded in 2024 by Rohit Ramesh (a former Unilever hand) and Ankit Choudhary (a former Shadowfax executive), the Bengaluru-based company operates an apartment-hub model for ironing of clothes.
The company will use the funding to expand its services, including shoe care and dry cleaning, deepen its existing hub network and strengthen operational and technology infrastructure.
“Fabric care is one of the most frequent services used by urban households, yet the experience remains largely unchanged from decades ago. Our ambition is to build the infrastructure that makes fabric care predictable, consistent and trustworthy, starting with ironing and eventually covering the broader fabric-care needs of urban India,” said Ramesh.
Iztri manages neighborhood hubs, deploys trained staff, and uses backend technology to standardise turnaround times and service execution. It is currently operational only in Bengaluru, where it employs over 200 workers across its hub network.
Iztri aims to increase its customer base from 25,000 to over 100,000 within the coming six months. Over the next two to three years, it plans to expand across southern India before entering top metro cities.
So far, the startup has raised about Rs 12 crore in funding.
Commenting on the infusion, Aditya Singh, partner at All In Capital, said, “Fabric care is a large, high-frequency category that remains surprisingly unorganised despite the rapid adoption of organised services across other parts of the home services market. Iztri is approaching the opportunity by building the operating infrastructure around the service, rather than simply aggregating existing providers.”
