GoKwik partners with Cred to drive higher conversions for D2C brands

GoKwik has partnered with Cred to extend the latter’s payment options to direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands on its platform.

“GoKwik is on a mission to democratize the shopping experience and has been building tech and data led infrastructure to enable that for the ecommerce and D2C ecosystem. One of the important themes is solving for trust and the partnership with Cred is a step in that direction,” said Chirag Taneja, cofounder and CEO, GoKwik. “Merchants on our network will benefit by being able to provide a trusted payment option for Cred members which will help them drive higher conversions, higher prepaid success rates and reduce chances of returns before delivery.”


Cred members represent the top 1% of shoppers and tastemakers. With this integration, brands on GoKwik will be able to drive higher discoverability, improve prepaid conversions and reduce the chances of RTO (return to origin) by offering a seamless & rewarding shopping experience to CRED members.

With this partnership, Cred pay will be integrated into GoKwik’s wide range of payments stack at the checkout. Cred’s members can use their preferred payment options for transactions making it a friction-less, fast and secure checkout experience on D2C brands powered by GoKwik.

Cred pay is already live on leading GoKwik merchants like Boat, Bombay Shaving Company, The Man Company, Snitch among oyhers. Some of them are already witnessing early successes due to the integration such as upto 20% uplift in prepaid conversion rate and reduction in RTO by about 5-10%.

Gokwik, a Sequoia-funded firm, offers a range of smart tools that help e-commerce platforms reduce their RTOs and increase their profitability. They help eCommerce brands minimise return losses on COD orders thereby enabling them to expand COD serviceability pan India.
