After more than two hours of deliberations, the high-powered jury for the Economic Times Startup Awards 2024 selected the eight winners from a cohort of 41 nominees. Here's what the jurors had to say about the winners, nominees and the overall process after the meeting:

Nandan Nilekani, cofounder and chairman, Infosys

The overarching theme of ETSA is that the so-called startup world is coming of age. We learnt a lot because many of these companies which we may not have heard of, some technology innovations we have not seen and even the quality of entrepreneurs... In all, this was a good learning experience for us.


Sumer Juneja, managing partner, India & EMEA, SoftBank

Many startups are focused on building more sustainable businesses, with strong fundamentals and good unit economics.

Prativa Mohapatra, Adobe India
