Bengaluru: uFaber Edutech is looking to hire over the next six months 1,000 employees in WFH jobs, with an aim to grow five times over the year-ago period.

The bootstrapped edtech startup, which offers hyper-personalised learning solutions, has onboarded 1 million learners so far and aims to increase that count to 10 million over the next two years. The company is looking to grow its subscriber base from 60,000 to 1 lakh across offerings.

uFaber clocked a revenue of Rs 35 crore in 2020-21, and aims to triple the same to Rs 100 crore in the ongoing fiscal by way of subscriptions and growth in user base.

“Our bet on hyper-personalised learning with trainers at the centre of it is paying off,” Rohit Jain, co-founder and chief executive of uFaber Edutech, said. “As the pandemic forced the shift to online/virtual learning, parents are seeking learning options beyond the curriculum for their children, and they find the value of an expert trainer personally coaching their child quite appealing.”

The startup is also looking to exponentially expand its trainer base from the current 2,800.

uFaber was among the first to identify the potential of qualified women professionals working from home with its “eMaester” programme, which currently has 2,800 women trainers.
