Cashfree appoints Piyush Anchliya from Bandhan AMC as new CFO
Anchliya will lead financial strategy, optimise operations and support the next phase of growth at the online payment processor. He replaces Vikas Guru, who led the finance function at Cashfree for almost four years.

Anchliya will replace Vikas Guru, who led the finance function at Cashfree for almost four years. Anchliya will report to Cashfree cofounder Akash Sinha, the company said in a release.
“As we enter the next phase of growth, Piyush’s valuable experience across the financial services industry will be key to scaling sustainably and strengthening our financial foundation,” said Sinha.
Anchliya joins Cashfree after serving as the CFO at Bandhan Asset Management Company (previously IDFC AMC). He has over 15 years of experience in the financial services world, having worked at Barclays Investment Bank in New York and Lehman Brothers in London.
Cashfree Payments bagged RBI licence to operate as a payment aggregator (PA)-Online, PA-cross border and issue mobile wallets or prepaid payment instruments. The company recently raised $53 million in a funding round led by Krafton and Apis. Currently, Cashfree processes $80 billion annually for over 800,000 businesses.
