Bengaluru ranks 15th in Global Startup Index with $153 billion ecosystem value

Bengaluru-Karnataka secured 15th place globally for startup ecosystems. The region attracted $39 billion in venture funding from 2021 to 2025.

Bengaluru-Karnataka has ranked 15th among the world’s top 40 startup ecosystems in the Global Startup Ecosystem Report 2026, released at Viva Technology Paris on Wednesday.
