Apna.co says witnessed 430% increase in female users in 2021
Apna.co has witnessed a more than fivefold increase in the number of female users on its platform in 2021, a trend the professional networking app expects to continue next year.

Tier-II cities such as Pune, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad noted a significant rise in women users on the platform. Maximum female content creators on Apna communities hail from metros such as Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

- The number of women interviewing on its platform increased more than 12 times compared to last year. On average, women are interviewing at least 8 times a month—33% more than men.
- 39% of the female users on Apna.co are 12th pass or lower and rely on the app to find jobs and build their professional network.
- Popular jobs on Apna.co included telecallers and BPO, back-office, receptionist, front office, teacher, accounts, finance, admin, office assistant and data entry operators.
- Women are also applying for non-traditional roles, including delivery partners, security guards, lab technicians, fitness trainers and drivers to name a few.
