Mumbai: Crowdfunding platform LetsVenture has launched a dedicated platform for women angel investors.

The Women Angel Network is looking to have more than 100 active investors by the end of the year. Its launch comes in the backdrop of a strong business case for more women angel investors in India.

Through this angel network, LetsVenture is looking to improve the diversity and gender parity among the investor community and, over time, increase the number of women in the pipeline that take board positions in both listed and unlisted companies in India.

The network will offer investment options of anywhere between ₹5 lakh and ₹25 lakh for these women investors.

“The platform will provide access to women angel investors to invest in early and growth stage startups and also provide the flexibility to mentor and support startups,” said Syna Dehnugara, chief brand officer at LetsVenture.
