Wipro has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sastra University, Thanjavur, to take its ongoing collaboration with the institution to the next level.

BANGALORE: Wipro has signed a memorandum of understanding with Sastra University, Thanjavur, to take its ongoing collaboration with the institution to the next level.
Wipro, which had chosen to partner with Sastra, one of the premier engineering institutes, had entered into an MoU, with the objective of "building industry-academia realtionship and empowering students to gear up for the challenges of the corproate world", Dr Chandrasekhar Dharuman, VP Wipro Technologies said in a staement today.
The MoU envisages a set of planned activities and interactions addressing various stakeholders, namely students, faculty and management, a rlease from Wipro said.
These activities and interactions include faculty development programmes, technical sponsorships, students workshop, among others, it added.
