BANGALORE: Wipro Infotech, the India and Middle East IT Business of Wipro, on Tuesday announced the launch of Wipro Disaster Recovery Assurance Service.
The service is designed to achieve faster and more efficient disaster recovery (DR) through visibility into recovery metrics and automation of the DR workflows and processes, a release said.
When DR processes are not automated, they require constant manual internvention and significant time and effort to ensure that the DR set up is efficeient and will meet the desired recovery objectives at the time of disasters.
The services fills this gap through automating processes and providing better insight and reliability of real time readiness of DR systems and recovery efficiency.
The service encompasses both proactive and reactive DR services aimed at enhancing operational efficiency of DR systems.
The service is powered by the Disaster Recovery Management suite of products from Sanovi Technologies with whom Wipro has formed a key alliance in the programme.
