WhatsApp calling finally makes its way to Windows phone

Android, iOS, and BlackBerry users have been enjoying WhatsApp's free voice-calling service for quite sometime now. And now, those operating Windows Phone can also enjoy this amazing service as their wait has come to an end. Yes, you heard it right. Windows Phone users have finally got the voice calling feature in their devices.

As WhatsApp for Windows Phone has been updated to version 2.12.60.0, it brings with it the ability to send audio files apart from the voice calling feature. In May, WhatsApp's voice calling feature rolled out to beta testers of the app.

So call your friends and family using WhatsApp for free, even if you are in another country. WhatsApp calls use your phone's Internet connection (4G/3G/2G/EDGE or Wi-Fi, as available) rather than your cellular plan's voice minutes. Data charges may apply.
