Veracode inks pact with Tech Mahindra

NEW DELHI: Veracode Inc, an application security testing solutions provider, on Tuesday said it has signed a strategic partnership with IT and Business solutions provider Tech Mahindra.

Through the partnership, Veracode will give Tech Mahindra access to develop a practice through which it will expand its service offerings beyond telecom, into enterprise market, including banking and financial services, manufacturing, retail and online service provider organisations, a release said.

To cater to their customers, a joint application security portfolio will be developed by Veracode, which will be the technology partner of Tech Mahindra, it said.

"Veracode will support Tech Mahindra to implement security solutions and to help businesses achieve new levels of security, productivity and compliance," Veracode Chief Executive Officer Matt Moynahan said.

Tech Mahindra will also provide Veracode with security testing services for its own customers that may require the most sophisticated manual penetration testing to compliment Veracode's on-demand application security testing solution, he said.

Veracode's SecurityReview service would be embedded into Tech Mahindra's VIGIL application security mode which delivers end-to-end application security services from secure development to security testing of applications.
Veracode deals with services to software flaws introduced through coding errors or malicious intent.
