US-based BigFix announces key partnerships in India

BANGALORE: US-based security management solution provider, BigFix on Tuesday announced its partnerships with leading Indian IT firms Wipro Infotech, HCL Comnet and Paladion as part of its corporate strategy to expand base in Asia.

Announcing its partnerships with the Indian companies BigFix Vice President (Business Development) George Billman said, "Our priorities for India are to build a presence to serve our customers, partners and to gain access to the innovation and expertise here."

BigFix has signed 48 new customers in Asia in the last six quarters and plans to bring in additional team members in the country to support its expanding customer and partner relationship throughout the region, he said .

"We see in India a unique combination of customer base ready to use our products and services; partners who can deliver our solutions and a sophisticated cadre of technical experts who can amplify our efforts to develop next generation products and technologies,"Billman said.

"Security, regulatory compliance and operational excellence have become high priorities in India. BigFix offers attributes ideally suited to India and South Asian conditions", said the company's Chief Technology Officer Amrit Williams,.

Currently, around 8,57,000 endpoint computers in Asia run BigFix software.
