Unisys appoints Sumed Marwaha as India operations head

Unisys Corporation has appointed Sumed Marwaha as the managing director for its India operations and regional vice president for Services business segment.

Marwaha has taken charge from Ravikumar Sreedharan.

He has joined Unisys from NTT DATA and served as vice president and India country head Infrastructure Services Delivery there. Before NTT DATA, he served as senior leader across large technology organizations including Dell.


Marwaha brings more than two decades of IT industry experience to this role and has played important role in setting up and managing multi-country-level business operations.

“Sumed joins Unisys at an exciting time for its India delivery center, where industry expertise has increased and resource utilization has improved. Today, nearly one quarter of our global workforce is based at the center, and it is a key asset in supporting our products and solutions worldwide as we focus on growing our business in 2018,” Harvey King, vice president, Services, Unisys, was quoted in a statement.

“I am also excited to work with Unisys’ talented associates and contribute to the next phase of the company’s growth,” said Marwaha.
