Tuebora becomes second Indian company to join Citrix Mentorship
Software maker Citrix Systems, which runs a global acceleration programme for select technology ventures, has chosen a Bangalore-based startup Tuebora to join its latest batch.
Apart from a seed capital of $250,000 (around Rs 1.3 crore), Tuebora, founded by Sanjay Nadimpalli, a computer science engineer from Mysore University, will now gain access to Citrix products, partner channel and global customer base.
Nadimpalli and his team will also get office space in the Valley for the next 18 months. Tuebora provides security software as a service to businesses.
“Lot of frauds happen when people exceed their authority. We focus to prevent that,” said Nadimpalli, who co-founded the venture two years ago along with other technology professionals Ashish Jhunjhunwala and Prasad Bhamidipati.According to research company Gartner, the market for identity and access governance solutions is growing at 30%-40% annually. Tuebora, which has been running pilots for their technology at various companies, found numerous instances of undesired access granted to employees. The company, with headquarters in California now, has already filed three patents for its technology.
“Tuebora radically enhances transparency and management of access to enterprise resources whether they are on-premise or on the cloud,” said John McIntyre, managing director, Citrix Startup Accelerator Programme.
