TCS to issue over 2 lakh digital signature certificates
Tata Consultancy Services said on Wednesday it has become the first Certifying Authority in India to issue more than 200,000 digital signature certificates.

BANGALORE: Tata Consultancy Services said on Wednesday it has become the first Certifying Authority in India to issue more than 200,000 digital signature certificates.
TCS Certifying Authority had become the first CA to cross the 100,000 mark, in February, and is the largest CA in the country in terms of the number of certificates issued, according to a TCS release.
"The TCS CA has shown spectacular growth during the past year, thanks to various initiatives by the Government, such as the MCA 21 programme.
The number of certificates issued to MCA 21 users alone is in excess of 150,000," it was stated.
