TCS acquires Aussie company for $1.3m

TCS has acquired TCS Management (formerly called Total Communication Solutions), a privately owned consulting firm in Australia for an upfront cash payment of $1.3m and performance payment of $11.5m over five years.

MUMBAI: TCS has acquired TCS Management (formerly called Total Communication Solutions), a privately owned consulting firm in Australia for an upfront cash payment of $1.3m and performance payment of $11.5m over five years.

TCSM employs over 35 senior consultants. It had turnover of around $4.3m for the year ended June 30, ’06. Neville Roach, chairman FNS will be the chairman of TCSM. Most of the key personnel with experience of 15 years will stay on.

“The acquisition of TCSM is part of the strategy to substantially grow our Australian business and provide high-end business and IT consulting to our large Australian client base,” said Girija Pande, head — APAC, TCS.
