Sonata Software to expand operations
Sonata Software Limited on Tuesday announced that it would set up a new facility, its fourth here, in the Global Village SEZ.

BANGALORE: Sonata Software Limited on Tuesday announced that it would set up a new facility, its fourth here, in the Global Village SEZ.
The three existing facilities with a combined area of 1,24,000 square feet, seating 1200 employees, are already full, a company presss release said.
The new facility is proposed to be expanded in phases, initially from 20,000 square feet, to a fully-developed facility of 1,00,000 square feet. It will house an additional 800 employees, and will involve an investment of Rs 20 crores
Sonata currently has a facility in Hyderabad, which can seat 800 people. This is also nearing full capacity. For expansion there, Sonata has already been allotted a seven-acre land in an SEZ which, when fully developed, will accommodate an additional 2000 people.
